Research Interests
Rainfall and Runoff Processes
Broadly, my research interest lies in understanding the influence of climate change and anthropogenic disturbances on water availability and nutrient transport from watersheds to continental scales. My work has implications for water security, stream and wetland management, and Food-Energy-Water nexus. In particular, my work attempts to reveal the underlying processes that drive ecological, hydrological, geomorphic, and biogeochemical responses of catchments from reach to river network and hillslope to watershed scales. I am also interested in quantifying the value of ecosystem services to further highlight the need for preserving our limited natural resources. Some of my area of interests include:
Food, Energy & Water Nexus
Fluvial Geomorphology
Statistical Methods and Machine Learning
Nutrient Biogeochemistry
